one last summer weekend

My weekend wrap up is late because yesterday was labor day and as the daughter of a union man, it just felt wrong to not honor the day and do anything but nothing. Mike and I drank some wine, ate homemade pizza with wheat dough from Trader Joe’s and watched Clerks and Caddyshack – it was awesome.

On Saturday night I went to the birthday party of the best playlist maker in the world at Om in Harvard Square- can  you tell by the cake? When I entered The Futureheads were playing, at some point I heard Spacehog and by the end, old school Boyz II Men.

On Sunday we went to a wedding. The ceremony was in Norwood and the reception was at Venezia in Boston. It was beautiful and had a great view of Boston’s skyline. They also had a photo booth, which everyone was so excited about. Our whole table would come back and show us their perfect, fun photos that seemed just so easy to take. So, Mike and I decided to give it a shot.

I don’t know why that booth hated our guts.
